Now on Android
A live map of the places people are at right now — busy cafés, packed bars, the square everyone drifted to. Real places, real photographs, and the friends you choose, shown only where they choose to be seen.
Crowded
Flip to Crowded and the map lights up where people actually are. A pin reading 17 is seventeen people who are there this minute — not a rating, not a review from last year.
Everyone is counted. Nobody is named unless they chose to be. That is the whole rule, and it is enforced on our servers, not on your phone.
Popular
When nobody is out yet, the map still knows where to go. Tens of millions of real places, each wearing a photograph of itself, spread evenly across the screen so a city reads like a city and not like a list.
Cafés, bars, restaurants, parks, museums — filter to what you are in the mood for.
The same map, everywhere
One map for the world, in your own language, and it follows you from the street you are on to the city you are flying to.

Threads
Not a feed of what people published — an inbox of what is being said, where. Is the roof terrace open? Any tables left? Ask the people who are there.
Post a photo at a place and it stays with the place, for the next person who wonders what it looks like inside.
Privacy first
Your location, your presence, your photos, your age — each has its own setting: everyone, followers, or nobody. Turn location off and you still count towards a place's number, but no one ever sees your name on it.
